Guardian Angels

Who Are They?

It is believed that every person has at least one (usually a few) guardian angels that are with them from the time they come into this world until they pass over.

Guardian angels know you better than yourself and can help you in many ways.

The trouble is most people are in the practice of asking for help, let alone communicating with their angels.

You always have free will, so unless you ask for help or guidance, your angel won't interfere.

The only exception to this is in a life threatening situation.

It is helpful to learn to hear your angel's advice so you can make the choices that serve you best.
Being able to hear your angel's advice is easy once you get into the practice.

The voice will sound very much like you, but the wisdom will be from a higher source.

Channeled Message from Abraham

I just came across this quote and thought it would be so fitting here. In case you don't know who Abraham is, he is a channeled light being energy channeled from Esther Hicks.

You can read more about him in her book (and Jerry Hicks) (i)Ask and It is Given(/i). This is a great book and I recommend it wholeheartedly.

Esther travels around the country, and at one of her lectures, a visitor asked about guardian angels:

Guest:I'd like to ask you to speak a little bit about guardian angels.

Its just such a curious thing and I feel like I've had a good friend with me for a long time and it just seems like another wonderful gateway.

And have you noticed that once you make a conscious acknowledgment of your connection, then you get more of it.

In other words the more you experience it, the more you vibrate it, the more you vibrate it the more you experience it.

It is your Source Energy; it is the stream of consciousness from which you come forth.

It is not easy as we are speaking to those of you who are physically focused, for you to articulate or interpret the block of thought that we offer.

You see we are visiting with you here, we are not speaking these word into Esther's ear and she is repeating them to you.

Instead we are offering 'knowing' and Esther is receiving this 'knowing' sort of like a radio signal.

And she is translating it into the physical word equivalent.

So a word like angel is a very brief and not nearly complete enough word to describe the non-physical Source energy that is always aware of you, who knows that all is well.

Always offered to you to assist you in achieving vibrational harmony with it so that you can live the all is wellness that is natural to you.

You see, whether you call it a guardian angel, or an inner being, whether you call it 'God', whether you call it non-physical energy, the label does not matter.

The key is to recognize what it feels like and then to do your best as much as you can to be a vibrational match to that feeling.

As you are feeling for it, then it has to be your experience.

Guardian Angels and Archangel Stories:

I've had a few encounters with the angels. One time I asked for a sign and boy did I get one. I remember at the time I was thinking about moving to Vermont.

I was 'talking' to the angels and I stopped and wondered, "Am I really getting guidance from them or is this something I'm making up?"

I think that is what we all go through.

As,I was wondering if I was really hearing them, I said something like, "Give me a sign that you're real".

Boy, did they ever. Two seconds later after I said give me a sign, a very large mirror that was hanging over the couch in my living room (I was sitting at my computer, which is next to the couch) dropped to the floor.

The mirror was not loose in any way and had been hanging there for several months.

Just out of the blue it came off its hooks and dropped to the floor.

Needless, to say I never doubted they were real or that they were listening after that.
