Relaxation Techniques


One of the best relaxation techniques for me is meditation.

I have only been meditating on a regular basis for about 6 months In the past I would let my practice fall by the wayside because like many peopole I found it difficult to quiet my mind.

I have found something though that works for me. I do a guided meditation.

The meditation I do is Wayne Dyer's Meditation for Manifesting CD. There is a 25 minute morning and evening meditation. The morning meditation is an "AAhh" meditation.

This is the sound of creation and is supposed to help one manifest whatever they would like.

And the evening one is an "OM" meditation that focuses on being grateful for all that you are and all that you have.

There is no right or wrong way to meditate but if you're like me, you might find it easier to follow along with a guided meditation.

I have heard that Sonia Choquette and Doreen Virtue also have good meditation CD's so you might want to try one of those as well.

Relaxation techniques are essential today because of the stress most of us face.

Most people are worried about their job, finances, health or something else.

Meditation is especially great for this reason. It helps you to detach from from all of your daily thoughts including any negative thoughts or worries.

You get detached from your problems and you are more apt to stay in a good feeling place.

This is important because when you feel good you are signaling to the universe to send you more people, experiences and things that match that higher vibration.

The better you feel, the better things get. And when you feel down, you just attract more of that. We really do manifest our worlds from the thoughts and beliefs we hold.

This is based on law of attraction.

After quieting the mind for 10-20 minutes at a time, you feel more at peace, centered, and you get insights into your problems.

Connecting with the Divine Mind allows you to see your life from a new perspective.

I have found some really creative solutions to concerns that were on my mind during and after meditating.
