Do I have to be away from my mother for me to become a psychic?

I had a dream where I saw three volcano type mountains and I saw a black box coming from these mountains and inside of it was a closed third eye. I have reasons to believe that I have psychic powers but I have read in some places that the psychic ability can only grow when we detached of our mothers because that part of the brain is governed by the female part. I'm a virgo sun sign and I was born on september 15. How can I know how many guardian angels I have? can anyone help me please? Thanks.
