Would you like to know who your power animal is? How cool to be able to tune into an animal who is perfect for you and who is there to assist you, right? Once you are aware of your totem guide, you can call on this animal if you want to know an answer to a problem or insight about a situation. Read on to find out which animal is your totem guide.

A Little Background about Power Animals:

While each one of us has a power animal assigned to us for our whole life, sometimes we will get a message from a different totem.

Sometimes a totem will appear in your life to give you a message that you need to learn at that time.

This power animal will keep showing up until you learn the lesson.

That is why you might see a butterfly three days in a row, and say to yourself, "That's strange, a butterfly flew unusually close to me two three days in a row."

This is a sign, and when you want to look at what the butterfly represents so you can decipher what message it has for you.

Or maybe you have a dream about a fox, then hear someone mention fox in conversation, and later that day, open the newspaper and there is a story about foxes.

This is a definite sign that fox has a message for you.

How To Hear Their Messages

Once, you know a power animal has a message for you, you want to be able to hear it.

In order to hear the message they have for you, get into a relaxed and quiet state.

Then ask your totem what message they have for you.

Usually the first response is the true one so trust that. It will come to you in either of four ways: Clairvoyance, clairaudience, claircognizance, or clairsentience.

Whichever is usually your way of receiving information in your life is most likely how you will receive the information.

But not always. I am clairsentient, and claircognizant and I receive my messages from Owl through clairaudience.

New channels of receiving information will open for you the more you practice.

After asking your totem animal what message they have for you, you will either get:

A gut instinct or feeling as to what the message is.
You will hear the message auditorily. You will either hear the voice of your animal spirit guide giving you advice or you will overhear the advice in conversation, on the radio, or on television.
You will have a knowing of what they are trying to communicate.
Or you will have a vision of either the animal or the message they wish to deliver.

Calling The Animal You Want To Work With

There is another option for working with these magical creatures.

At any time, you may call on any animal you'd like to work with you. To call them, say the name of the totem or write it down. Ask them to be with you.

For example, if you wish to work with Dolphin, call her name outloud or write it in your journal.

And then talk to Dolphin, explaining how you would like her to come work with you.

And then be open to what shows up. You may have a dream about dolphins, then see them in a magazine or on television over the next few day, or hear about them in conversation.

Be on the lookout for signs they are with you because they will come to your aid.

Hold a clear intention of receiving the messages they have for you. Remain open to how the messages may come.

As in the case above, you will either hear the message, see the animal, have a gut feeling about what they are telling you, or have a knowing of what the message is.
