We Are All Born With This Gift

We are all born with an inner guidance system or psychic powers. This is what lets us know which direction to move in, if someone is good for us, if we like them, and on and on.

We have an inner antanae system that we are using as we go throughout our day.

If you learn to pay attention and follow the inner knowing you will be rewarded. You will find yourself in the right job, fulfilling relationships and feeling good.

It takes practice. It is like a muscle - the more you use your psychic power, the easier it gets to hear.

And the more you see how it works in your favor (you feel good when you follow it) you will be more inclined to pay attention to it.

Let's take a closer look at the types of psychic abilities you can develop.

Types of Psychic Powers

The four most widely used types of psychic powers are clairvoyance, clairaudience, clairsentience and claircognizance.

Clairvoyance

Someone who is clairvoyant sees psychic visions.

These messages might come in the form of symbols, or pictures.

People with this psychic power say it's as if they are watching a movie play out in their mind's eye.

To increase your clarvoyance, you could say to Spirit: "Show me what I am not seeing at this time." Keep your eyes closed and see what comes through.

Don't get discouraged if you don't receive any images. Everything happens at the right time. It might not be today, but maybe next week when you least expect it you will get a picture.

Clairsentience

A person who is clairsentient is someone who feels things in their body - usually in their heart or gut area.

This is their primary means of receiving intuitive messages from the universe.

Clairaudience

This is someone who hears messages from spirit.

They might hear a word, phrase, or whole sentences.

Claircognizance

Someone who is clairecognizant doesn't know how they know things. They just know them.

It's as if the information is downloaded into their brain.

Many people who have this gift doubt their ability because they can't substantiate it with anything.

They aren't seeing or hearing anything like in two of the previous methods.

Anyone with this ability or any of these psychic powers is very intuitive.

My Gifts

My two most prominent psychic abilities are clairsentient and claircognizant. Since I was a child I would know things that were well beyond my age. I would know volumes about people but it wasn't from anything that was said out loud.

There have been times when I didn't listen to the messages and then stopped being able to hear them. That was a low time in my life.

I learned the hard way that when I listen to what my intuitive feelings are telling me and I follow my inner guidance things always work out well. But when I don't listen, it doesn't end up so good.

Which Way Feels Easiest For You?

Think about which is your dominant way of receiving information.

All four types of psychic powers are valid and equally important so enjoy whichever method is predominant for you.

If you would like to work on your less dominant pathways of receiving, you can ask the angels or your spirit guide for help.

I will say when I began verbally channeling my sprit guide, I had a difficult time at first because I wasn't used to hearing messages. But with practice, I was able to receive messages that way.

I still prefer my dominant methods because they come naturally.

Only You Know What Is Right For You

We are so lucky to have this inner guidance system or psychic power.

All we have to do is listen to it and we can live wonderful lives. The only limits are the ones we put on ourselves.

The problem is there is so much outside static such as the media or well meaning parents, friends that sometimes we go against are better judgement.

The downside is that when we listen to others, we give away our power to be the directors and manifestors of our own lives. You will never find happiness that way. Only you can know what makes you happy.

Only you can know what the right choices are for you. And only you will live with the results of those choices.

So I encourage us all to keep listening and following that inner guidance; use the psychic power that we all have inside of us.

At the end of the day, the only person you have to answer to is yourself. You are the only one who will know if you are living the life that is right for you.

You owe it to the divine in you to live a life that is harmonious and true to your inner self.
