Hi Kathleen,

I don't think I would go about it that way. Instead ask Archangel Michael that events unfold for the highest good of all involved. So you could say to Archangel Michael, "If it is for my friend's and my highest good, let me hear back from my friend." Don't give them a how or when. Just put it out into the universe and know that if it is meant to be, you will hear from him. From what you wrote it sounds like you are attached to this outcome. You need to find a way to let go of this, and be ok with whatever happens, either way. Once you release your attachment, that's when whatever you are wanting usually comes. So yes, put the desire out there, and then just go about your business and forget about it, knowing that the universe is working on your behalf. Hope that helps.
